Eli topped the Olive-Harvey baseball team with a .538 batting average (7 for 13) and seven runs in four games. He also hit his first collegiate homer, drove in four, walked three times and tallied a .625 on-base percentage.
In addition to his offense, Eli was the winning pitcher in Game 2 against Prairie State on April 26. In 5.1 innings, the right-hander allowed one earned run (two runs in all) and struck out three in a 7-4 victory over the Pioneers to complete the doubleheader sweep.
