New Horizons For Former Panthers This Fall

The Olive-Harvey Panthers are celebrating a major milestone as a talented group of student-athletes from multiple sports have advanced their athletic and academic careers to four-year colleges and universities. These student-athletes have not only excelled in competition but have also demonstrated the dedication and discipline needed to continue their education and playing careers at the next level.

In volleyball, Rickale Green (Philander Smith), Essence Keel (Calumet St. Joseph), Cristal Lopez (Calumet St. Joseph), Summer McGee (Elizabeth City State University), and Crystyna Yates (Lake Forest College) will take their skills to new programs while pursuing their degrees.

From women’s basketball, Nakia Baroney (Shaw University), Khariah Gardner (Arkansas Pine Bluff), and Ayanna Simmons (Graceland University) are set to continue competing on the court at the four-year level.

On the track, Ashley Thomas (Talladega College) will compete in women’s track and field, while Devin Jones (Governors State University) advances in men’s track and field.

Panthers baseball will also be well represented, with Pedro Agosto (Coppin State), Dylan Adino (Alabama State), Marcus Taylor (Rockford University), Sidney Atkins (Rockford University), Raymond Velez (Edward Waters University), and Antwan Harvey (Roosevelt University) moving forward in their athletic and academic journeys.

This group of standout student-athletes has left their mark on Olive-Harvey College, and their success reflects the strength of the Panthers athletic program. As they take the next step, the entire Panthers community celebrates their accomplishments and looks forward to following their continued growth both in the classroom and in competition.
