Olive-Harvey welcomed Tasha P. Johnson as the school's first Head Coach for Track in September, 2022.
Coach Johnson has an extensive resume and began running Track and Cross Country as a child at Foster Park and eventually as a student-athlete Calumet High School. She went on to run at Indiana State University as a sprinter.
Tasha started the track program at Clissold Elementary School in Beverly and went on to become the Head Track Coach at Chicago Christian High School. She also is the founder and Head Coach of the Chicago Thunder Track Club. Lastly Coach Johnson is a USATF Official and holds a Coaches Level One in Track and Field.
