MBB: Kennedy-King vs. Olney Central

VINCENNES, Ind. — Kennedy-King College couldn’t keep pace with Olney Central in the second half, falling 78-61 on Saturday evening despite strong individual efforts.

Reggie Ray led the Statesmen with 20 points, hitting 7-of-15 from the field and adding five rebounds and six assists. Kelsey Tarver contributed 13 points and a team-high nine rebounds, while Marrico McCaskill filled the stat sheet with six points, eight assists, and two boards. Off the bench, Kobe Harris chipped in seven points, and Bangout Mai added four points and two steals.

Kennedy-King shot 44.4% from the field but struggled at the free-throw line (45%) and couldn’t overcome Olney Central’s strong finish.
