Chicago, IL - The Kennedy-King College Statesmen mounted a strong second-half comeback but fell short in a 77-74 loss to the Black Hawk College Braves on November 12, 2025, in men's basketball action at Kennedy-King Gymnasium. Trailing 44-34 at halftime, Kennedy-King outscored their opponents 40-33 in the final period, fueled by efficient shooting and defensive plays.

Guard Reggie Ray led the Statesmen with a game-high 23 points on efficient 9-of-14 shooting (1-of-1 from beyond the arc) and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line, adding three rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal.
