MBB: Kennedy-King vs. Prairie State

Chicago, IL - The Kennedy-King College Statesmen led 38-33 at halftime but couldn't hold on in the second half, falling 77-69 to the Prairie State College Pioneers on November 15, 2025, in men's basketball action at Kennedy-King Gymnasium.

Guard Reggie Ray delivered a standout performance with a game-high 38 points on efficient 14-of-19 shooting (2-of-3 from beyond the arc) and 8-of-10 free throws, adding three rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal. Guard Devontae Jean contributed 10 points on 3-of-13 field goals (3-of-9 from three) and 1-of-2 free throws, with one rebound and one assist. Forward Kelsey Tarver scored nine points on 3-of-9 shooting (1-of-6 from three) and 2-of-7 free throws, grabbing eight rebounds and one assist.

Forward Rashawn Emer-Lake added two points on 2-of-2 free throws, leading the team with 12 rebounds and one steal. Guard Marrico McCaskill scored four points with two rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

As a team, the Statesmen shot 39.0% from the field (23-of-59), 30.0% from three (6-of-20), and 51.5% from the line (17-of-33), securing 37 rebounds, eight assists, one block, and three steals.
