MBB: Kennedy-King vs. Glen Oaks

The Kennedy-King College Statesmen displayed offensive firepower in their 2025-26 debut on October 31, 2025, scoring 81 points against the Glen Oaks Community College Vikings. Despite a balanced attack, Kennedy-King fell short in the high-scoring affair, moving to 0-1.

Forward Kelsey Tarver paced the Statesmen with a game-high 24 points on efficient 10-of-16 shooting, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc, adding two blocks and a steal. Guard Reggie Ray contributed 23 points on 8-of-15 field goals, 1-of-3 from three, and 6-of-9 free throws, with two rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Guard Jerrold Brock III added 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting, seven rebounds, and a team-high six assists, plus a steal.

Forward Rashawn Emer-Lake was flawless from the field with seven points on 3-of-3 shooting and 1-of-2 free throws, grabbing six rebounds and two assists. Guard Kobe Harris chipped in three points on 1-of-5 shooting (1-of-4 from three), five rebounds, and three assists. Forward Bangout Mai and others provided additional scoring support.

As a team, the Statesmen shot 49.2% from the field (31-of-63), 29.4% from three (5-of-17), and 60.9% from the line (14-of-23), recording 24 rebounds, 17 assists, two blocks, and six steals.
