MBB: Kennedy-King vs. Southwestern Michigan

Dowagiac, MI - The Kennedy-King College Statesmen battled closely but came up short in a 71-68 loss to the Southwestern Michigan Roadrunners on November 1, 2025, moving to 0-2 on the season. Kennedy-King trailed 36-32 at halftime but outscored their opponents in the second half, showcasing resilience through key individual efforts.

Guard Reggie Ray led the Statesmen with a team-high 19 points on efficient 6-of-10 shooting and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line, adding three rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Guard Marrico McCaskill contributed 13 points on 6-of-13 field goals, four rebounds, and one block. Guard Javon Warfield added 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting and 2-of-4 free throws, with five rebounds, three steals, and one block.

Forward Kelsey Tarver scored nine points on 3-of-10 field goals and 3-of-5 free throws, grabbing a team-high eight rebounds and two assists. Guard Kobe Harris chipped in five points on 2-of-5 shooting (1-of-3 from three) and three rebounds.
