MBB: Kennedy-King vs. Triton

RIVER GROVE, Ill. — Reggie Ray poured in a game-high 28 points on 9-of-20 shooting with nine made free throws and four assists as Kennedy-King College rallied in the second half but fell 83-74 to Triton College on Nov. 18.

Devontae Jean added 10 points on a pair of 3-pointers with two steals, while Bangout Mai contributed six points, three rebounds and two blocks for the Statesmen.

Philip Berryhill sparked the bench with six points on perfect 2-for-2 from beyond the arc and two blocks, Cameron King chipped in five points with two steals, and Javon Warfield provided four points and two steals.

Kennedy-King shot 38.8 percent from the field and went 7-for-15 from 3-point range but couldn't overcome a 43-28 halftime deficit despite outscoring Triton 46-40 after the break.
