MBB: Truman vs. Highland

CHICAGO — Antoine Thomas Jr. scored a team-high 16 points on a pair of 3-pointers with three assists, and De'Andre Addison added 10 points with a 3-pointer off the bench as Harry S. Truman College mounted a second-half rally but fell 75-58 to Highland Community College on Nov. 20.

Alioune Gningue contributed eight points on efficient 3-of-5 shooting with seven rebounds, while Jaylin Murphy chipped in seven points, including a 3-pointer, and three rebounds for the Falcons.

Aidan Parker grabbed six rebounds with five points, Naeim Evens added four points and five rebounds, and Demetrius Jackson provided three points on a 3-pointer.

Truman shot 45.1 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from beyond the arc while holding Highland to 43.1 percent overall, but a 42-21 halftime deficit proved too much despite outscoring the Cougars 37-33 after the break.
