SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. — Terrence Shannon scored 27 points to lead Olive-Harvey to a statement 82–79 win over No. 8 South Suburban on Thursday, pushing the Panthers to 13–2 in one of their biggest victories of the season.

Shannon led all scorers and added four rebounds and four assists, controlling the tempo throughout and delivering clutch baskets in key moments. His performance helped Olive-Harvey hand South Suburban a rare home loss.

Marcus Browder added 19 points and six assists, providing steady backcourt support and attacking downhill to keep the Panthers’ offense moving. Lawrence Elting chipped in 15 points and five rebounds, knocking down timely shots to keep Olive-Harvey in front during the second half.

Sophomore forward Jed Johnson anchored the interior with 10 rebounds and two blocks, giving the Panthers an edge in the paint and neutralizing South Suburban’s second-chance opportunities.
