MBB: Panthers Remain Unbeaten at Home

CHICAGO — Yabsa Nydiane poured in a game-high 26 points on efficient 8-of-11 shooting with four 3-pointers, adding five rebounds, three assists, a block and a steal as Olive-Harvey defeated Wright 90-63 on Tuesday night.  It was the eleventh home win for the Panthers against no defeats.

Justin Jones added 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting with three 3-pointers, five rebounds and two assists, while Terrence Shannon contributed 10 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and five steals for the Panthers, who built a 47-32 halftime lead and pulled away in the second half.

Marcus Browder chipped in eight points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals, Jedidiah Adesoji Johnson provided eight points, seven rebounds and four assists, and Ford Jayden tallied eight points and nine rebounds with two blocks.

Olive-Harvey shot 52.5 percent from the field and 48 percent from beyond the arc while dominating the glass 50-32 and dishing 24 assists in the home victory.

For Wright, Caleb Zarbock led with 17 points on three 3-pointers, adding four assists and two steals, Knyle Lundy posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Sayveon Trplett contributed 11 points and four assists in a solid team effort that kept the first half competitive. The Rams showed resilience on the boards with 32 rebounds and efficient 41.8 percent shooting.
