CHICAGO - Olive-Harvey (11-12) edged Highland 5-3 Thursday afternoon.  The Panthers seized control in the bottom of the third, erasing a 2-1 deficit and surging ahead 4-2 in a four-run rally. Caleb Rhodes was hit by a pitch, Eduardo Moreno walked, Kyle Ketchum reached on a fielder’s choice, and Joey Grimes ripped a sacrifice fly — each play driving in a run.

Offensively, leadoff hitter Christopher Linares set the tone, going 2-for-4. Ketchum, Grimes, Linares, Rhodes, and Moreno each collected an RBI in the victory.

Defensively, the Panthers played error-free baseball. Eduardo Moreno led the way in the field with nine defensive chances.
