WBB: Kennedy-King vs. Triton

RIVER GROVE, Ill. — Kaylah Cherry poured in a team-high 20 points on four 3-pointers with perfect 6-for-6 free-throw shooting, and Fantasia Williams delivered a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, but Kennedy-King College fell 81-51 to Triton College on Tuesday night.

Destiny Taylor added 11 points on efficient 5-of-10 shooting with 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals for the Statesmen.

Camryn Walker chipped in three points and three assists, while Jaydah Jackson provided three points and three assists, and Jayda Pitchford scored two points.

Kennedy-King grabbed 37 rebounds, including 20 offensive, but shot just 21.3 percent from the field while committing 18 turnovers in the setback.
