The Malcolm X Hawks completed a perfect conference season and picked up their 20th win of the year in a hard-fought 79-69 victory over the Kennedy-King.
Malcolm X jumped out to an early lead, finishing the first half ahead 41-33. Kennedy-King tried to mount a comeback in the second half, but the Hawks held their ground, outscoring the visitors 38-36 in the final 20 minutes to maintain their lead.
Juaquin Dixon led the Hawks with an impressive performance, scoring a game-high 24 points while also grabbing 8 rebounds and dishing out 7 assists. Darion Williams was electric from beyond the arc, knocking down six 3-pointers on his way to an 18-point performance. Collin Woods added 15 points and contributed defensively with 4 steals, helping Malcolm X generate key turnovers.
