WBB VIDEO: Panthers Tighten Grip on First Place with Narrow Win

CHICAGO — Khadijah Phillips poured in a game-high 27 points on 11-of-21 shooting with seven rebounds, an assist and a steal, and La'Kyra Johnson delivered a double-double with 10 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two steals as Olive-Harvey College held off Kennedy-King College 66-62 on Tuesday night.

Karla Thomas added nine points, seven rebounds, an assist and two blocks, Dijionna Berrien contributed seven points, 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks, and Angel Dickerson chipped in seven points, three rebounds and two assists for the Panthers.

Olive-Harvey shot 37.9 percent from the field and collected 44 rebounds and seven steals despite 14 turnovers in the road victory.  The Panthers improved to 7-0 in conference play inching closer to a repeat City Colleges championship.
