Games of the Year: Kennedy-King Holds On to Beat Rival Malcolm X

The Kennedy-King College women’s basketball team picked up a big road win behind a standout group of performers.

Jaydah Jackson led the way with a game-high 24 points (10-18 FG, 3-3 from three) and added 8 rebounds (3 offensive).

Kaylah Cherry poured in 17 points, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the free-throw line while adding 3 steals.

Destiny Taylor contributed 12 points and 9 rebounds (4 offensive).

Fantasia Williams provided a strong spark off the bench with 11 points (5-10 FG, 1 three).

Camryn Walker rounded out the attack with 10 points, including 2 threes.

Kennedy-King's top performers combined for 74 of the team’s 85 points and controlled the glass, out-rebounding Malcolm X 36-44 while shooting 44.4% from three-point range in the victory.
