WBB: Olive-Harvey Standout Khadijah Phillips Signs with Edward Waters University

Chicago, IL — Olive-Harvey College sophomore forward Khadijah Phillips has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her basketball career at NCAA Division II Edward Waters University in Florida.

Phillips had a strong sophomore campaign for the Olive-Harvey Lady Panthers, averaging 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. Her performance earned her multiple honors, including First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference selections, as well as an All-American nomination.

A two-year starter for Olive-Harvey, Phillips played a key role in one of the program’s most successful stretches. During her time with the team, the Lady Panthers compiled an impressive 20-0 conference record, a 41-6 regional record, and captured two conference championships, one regional championship, one regional runner-up finish, one district championship, and made an appearance in the National Tournament.

Edward Waters University, a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), adds a talented and accomplished frontcourt player in Phillips as they look to build their roster for the upcoming seasons.
