CHICAGO – Led by Dusaan Allen’s (Schurz H.S.) game-high totals of 18 points and 10 rebounds, the Truman men’s basketball team opened its 2018-19 season with a 63-53 victory over College of DuPage on Saturday at the Dave Rowlands Sports Center.
Keishun Thomas (St. Patrick H.S.) added 12 points and four assists, while Clarence Cooper III (Brooks College Prep Academy) supplied 10 points. Keshaun Surney (Mather H.S.) topped the game charts with five steals.
After the teams played to a 34-34 tie in the first half, the Falcons pulled away in the final 20 minutes, outscoring the guests 29-19 to win by 10.
