Ousley had 22 points and 13 rebounds, White finished with 12 points and 10 boards and Robinson poured in a career-high 28 points. The CCC men’s teams won two-of-three games Tuesday with Wright and Olive-Harvey picking up wins while Truman was handed a loss. Wright 79, Lake County 66 CHICAGO – Kente Rushing (Vincent H.S./Milwaukee, Wis.), Emanuel Oneal (Orr H.S.) and Jamel White (Groppi H.S./Milwaukee, Wis.) all had double-doubles Tuesday to help the Wright men’s basketball team to a 79-66 victory over visiting College of Lake County. Rushing totaled 16 points and 16 rebounds; Oneal compiled 16 points and 10 boards; and White finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Also contributing to the win were Demarco Graham (Curie Metropolitan H.S.), who had 12 points and seven assists, and Jason Newman (Orr H.S.), who recorded 11 points. Wright never trailed in the game, constructing a 31-27 halftime lead and upping the margin to as many as 16 points in the second period. Olive-Harvey 83, Joliet 80 JOLIET, Ill. – Since resuming their head-to-head series in 2016-17, all three games between the Olive-Harvey men’s basketball team and Joliet Junior College have been decided by three points or less, including Tuesday’s contest, which saw OHC come away with an 83-80 road victory. The Panthers won last year as well, earning a 77-75 triumph, while Joliet was a 77-75 victor in 2016-17. Kendrick Robinson (Harper H.S.) scored a career- and game-high 28 points. He also led all players with five assists and registered three steals. Ronnie Allgood (Proviso West H.S.) netted 14 points and Samuel Moore (Thornwood H.S.) followed with 12. Olive-Harvey, 7-1 on the year and the owner of a six-game winning streak, was in front 34-32 at the intermission and held a 49-48 advantage in the second half. Kankakee 84, Truman 64 CHICAGO – Terell Ousley Jr. (Crane H.S.) came off the bench of the bench to post personal- and game-best totals of 22 points and 13 rebounds in the Truman men’s basketball team’s 84-64 loss to Kankakee Community College on Tuesday at the Dave Rowlands Sports Center. Other highlights for the Falcons included Keishun Thomas’ (St. Patrick H.S.) 16 points and Dusaan Allen’s (Schurz H.S.) 10 rebounds. Truman fell behind 41-33 at the half and was outscored 43-31 in the final 20 minutes. #cccathletics
