JOLIET, Ill. – With a recipe that consisted of a stellar defensive outing and Keishun Thomas’ (St. Patrick H.S.) offense, the Truman men’s basketball team cooked up a 63-54 victory over Joliet Junior College on Thursday at JJC.
Thomas scored a season-high 26 points to lead the Falcons, who yielded their second-lowest point total of the year, to the win.
Thomas also contributed to the defensive cause as he topped the team with three steals.
Dusaan Allen (Schurz H.S.) had nine points and seven rebounds. Clarence Cooper (Brooks College Prep Academy) totaled seven boards as well.
Truman was in front 30-28 at the half and outscored the Wolves 33-26 in the final 20 minutes.
