MSOC: Daley vs. Malcolm X

The Richard J. Daley College Bulldogs overcame an early deficit to defeat the Malcolm X College Hawks 4-1 in the NJCAA Region 4 Division I men's soccer semifinal on October 29, 2025, at Brighton Park. Daley advances to the finals, while Malcolm X's season concludes at 5-10-1.

The Hawks struck first in the 17th minute when forward Leny Sophiane Bamba scored, assisted by defender Enzo Ndopedro, to lead 1-0 at halftime. The Bulldogs exploded in the second half, netting four goals. Forward Juan Vera tallied twice—at 72 minutes (assisted by Jose Rivera) and 81 minutes (assisted by Marco Hernandez)—while midfielder Angel Diaz added one at 74 minutes (assisted by Vera). A team goal at 83 minutes sealed the comeback.

Daley outshot Malcolm X with five shots on goal to three. Bulldogs goalkeeper Shaheen Chebil made six saves, while Hawks keeper Thomas Feifar recorded two. Notable shots came from Hawks midfielder Erick Ramirez (two, one on goal) and Bulldogs midfielder Angel Diaz (seven, two on goal).

Yellow cards were issued to several players, including Daley's Juan Vera, Rodrigo Benitez, and Sebastian Vidrio, and Malcolm X's Moustapha Suarez Abdou.
