Kenosha Walker sparked the bench with 24 points on efficient 12-of-15 shooting, 14 rebounds, four blocks, two assists and a steal for the Hawks, who held a 34-23 halftime lead and then outscored Danville 51-32 in the second half. Christin Brewer added 20 points on 9-of-16 shooting with four rebounds, Diara Tolbert contributed four points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals, and Jalyssa Diaz chipped in five points and three rebounds. Oluwabukola Onigbinde provided five points, nine rebounds and four assists. Malcolm X shot 44.3 percent from the field, dominated the glass 60-26 (including 30 offensive rebounds) and blocked seven shots as a team while forcing 24 turnovers in the road win.
