MSOC: Truman vs. Malcolm X

Truman powered past Malcolm X to remain unbeaten with a 4-1 victory in City Colleges of Chicago men’s soccer action, scoring three second-half goals to seal the win.

Midfielder Jan Auch opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, finishing a setup from Nils Stodulka to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. Truman extended its advantage early in the second half when Michael Makonese found the net in the 50th minute off a pass from Ilija Dordevic.

Just five minutes later, Felipe Pou added a third goal, again assisted by Stodulka, who finished with two assists on the day. Felix Schwalm capped the scoring for Truman in the 67th minute, converting a feed from Makonese.

Malcolm X’s lone goal came in the 59th minute from Leny Sophiane Bamba, assisted by Giovanni Leon.

Goalkeeper Oliver Bewell anchored the Falcons’ defense with four saves, while Malcolm X’s Thomas Feifar recorded 10 saves despite conceding four goals.

Truman’s balanced attack and defensive discipline earned the Falcons a decisive win in conference play.
