WBB: Panthers Edge Hawks On the Road

CHICAGO — Khadijah Phillips poured in a game-high 29 points on 7-of-18 shooting with 15-of-18 from the free-throw line, seven rebounds and three steals, and Angel Dickerson added 12 points, four rebounds and an assist as Olive-Harvey College held off Malcolm X College 64-62 on Thursday night.

Dijionna Berrien contributed eight points and eight rebounds with three steals, while Mariah Barksdale chipped in six points and four rebounds for the Panthers.

Karla Thomas provided six points and six rebounds, and Sheliyah Battle added two points and four rebounds off the bench.

Olive-Harvey shot 34.5 percent from the field while collecting 12 steals despite 20 turnovers in the road victory.
