The Harry S. Truman College Falcons delivered an outstanding performance on October 29, 2025, securing an 8-0 win against the Kennedy-King College Statesmen in men's soccer action at Wilson Turf Field. Truman dominated from start to finish, scoring four goals in each half to cap off a strong showing.
The Falcons' attack was relentless, with forward Felipe Pou leading the way as a key playmaker. Pou notched one goal and provided three assists, setting up Nils Stodulka's opener at 22 minutes and Arran MacMaster's tally at 55 minutes, before assisting Daniel Champlain at 60 minutes and scoring himself at 65 minutes off a pass from MacMaster. MacMaster contributed a goal and an assist of his own, while midfielders Jan Auch (31') and forward Michael Makonese (38', unassisted) added to the first-half surge. Defender Eduardo Ferragut (45', assisted by Ricardo Mendonca) and forward Robin Muller (70', assisted by Mohamed Abdulahi) rounded out the scoring.
Truman's defense was solid, earning a clean sheet with goalkeepers Oliver Bewell (45 minutes, two saves) and Aymerick Joly (25 minutes, two saves) combining for four saves on the afternoon. The Falcons generated numerous opportunities, putting 18 shots on goal throughout the 70-minute contest.
The 16-1-1 Falcons will defend their Region 4, Division 1 Championship when they host the title match Saturday morning at 8:00 at Wilson Turf Fields at Montrose Beach Park in downtown Chicago.
